User testing enables to understand how a service can be used in a realistic context. Targeted users are individually observed during the fulfilment of predetermined tasks on the assessed interface.
The goal is to collect the global perceptions of the users towards the service, to identify possible difficulties and obstacles encountered in the use, in order to define tangible and prioritized solutions.
User testing can be conducted anytime in the design process : service designing, black and white screens, graphic layouts, online service.
